Bombardier - „Roll out“ New Jersey Transit (NJT) Kassel 16th November 2009 – Contrast could not have been bigger: While the cheerless day in November showed a more dismal weather scenery, the colors of the US railway company New Jersey Transit (NJT) dominated the hall M45 at the “Kasseler Industriepark Werk Mittelfeld” (industrial area in Kassel).
The new locomotive in silver, blue, purple and orange, which is produced in Kassel, was ceremonially presented by Bombardier to representatives of NJT. Locomotive operators call such a festivity “Roll Out” - the first towing tractor of a line to be presented to an audience.

More than 10,000 production employees will take part in the events. The truck is the centerpiece of the event, but also the stage for the kick-off speeches on each event day.
